Dreamweaver In a Nutshell
by Joyce J Evans
The Dreamweaver in a Nutshell book is designed to be a handy reference
book. you'll be able to get up to speed rather quickly in the specific
areas you need help in, by looking up specific topics. This book
is an excellent aid to your existing knowledge of Dreamweaver. There
is information from the basic page layout, site management, CSS,
XML, extending Dreamweaver and a lot more.
Dreamweaver in a Nutshell takes the information for each topic
and distills it into a clear and concise presentation that you'll
be able to digest and utilize quickly.
This not a reference book just for beginners, there are a lot of
advanced topics and tips. You'll find detailed instructions for
using the Find and Replace function indexing a chart for using the
"regular expressions" command. The section on templates
is one of the best I've seen, there's a CSS roadmap which helps
greatly in understanding the concepts involved in using a Style
Sheet. There is a CSS operations summary ten each operation is explained
in more detail.
These are just a few examples, but the book is jam packed with
tables, codes, lists and all kind of tips. I'd recommend this book
for the intermediate to advanced user that wants to go beyond the
intermediate level of using Dreamweaver
