I am currently working on the Macromedia Studio MX
Bible and things are moving along great. I've got a wonderful and
talented team to work with. The expected publish date is January,
2003.
I finally updated my photo. I've lost 100 pounds in
the last year!
I have removed the PDF courses for sale. I have an
offer from a publisher to include them in a new book (which I can't
mention yet) with my other projects that were meant for the Fireworks
MX F/X & Design book for Coriolis. Since they (Coriolis) closed
I've had a book full of tutorials with no home :-)

A new book has been announced, it's Fireworks MX from
Zero to Hero by Friends of Ed. The author name hasn't been changed
yet but I'm a co-author of this book. There will be a color section
in it and it has a ton of design projects! There is no cover image
ready yet but when it is I'll add it here.
The release date for Dreamweaver MX Complete Course
has been changed to October 1st.
I haven't had time to do a formal review yet but Inside
Dreamweaver MX is fantastic! The best reference book I've seen so
far this year for Dreamweaver.

A sample chapter of the Fireworks MX: Zero to Hero book is now available
on the books page (or the link under the
books picture on this page). This is the text chapter but it's quite
large, it's 11mg.

Fireworks MX: Zero to Hero book arrived at my home today. It should
be available at Amazon very soon. A sample chapter will be posted
on the books page as soon as I get one from Friends of Ed.

It's been awhile since the last entry, things sure have been busy.
I just returned from a 3 week trip to Michigan. The Dreamweaver
MX Complete Course book is now available. For more information and
a sample chapter, go to the DWCC books page.
I just got word that the Fireworks MX: Zero to Hero book is at
the printers and will be available in a couple of weeks.

I've also posted another Fireworks tutorial on making rounded corners
on a bitmap image.

I hope everyone had a great holiday. I actually turned my computer
off for two full days. Well...almost, I checked mail on Chirstmas
Eve :-)
I should have mentioned this earlier but I suppose late is better
than never. If you are using Dreamweaver MX and want to be sure
to get the free update
to Dreamweaver for Contribute. But FIRST read the installation
issues. Macromedia recommends the update to all Dreamweaver
MX users.

I posted 3new tutorials today for a curved
navigation graphic, slicing,
optimize, export curved graphic, and stretchy
table using the graphic. All 3 tutorials go together, the first
2 in Fireworks the table in Dreamweaver.

I uploaded two movies for download, not optimized
for internet viewing. One is for making a heart
shape (6.1mg) and one is using the Pen
tool (2.3mg). Right-click to save the Target As.
